Recognised as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, Menorca is the most preserved of the Balearic islands. Its highest point is El toro at an altitude of 358 metres. Menorquí, a local variation of Catalan, uses es in the masculine and sa in the feminine. Mahon or Maò is the main city. Caldereta de langosta is a typical Menorcan dish. By mixing 50 ml of gin with 100 ml of lemonade, you get La pomada, a cocktail created on the island in 1967. When you climb the spiral staircase at Castell de Sant Nicolau, you can access a watch tower offering stunning views. Menorca is home to 200 bird species and 1,300 flower and shrub varieties. Albert Camus, winner of the 1957 Nobel Prize in Literature, has Menorcan ancestry.

Manufacturing

Drawing
Through a single stroke, The Line represents panoramas of cities, legendary mountain tops, or even mythical music tracks visually represented by their soundwaves.
Cutting
Lines are laser cut from metal sheets, with an extreme accuracy. This step is carried out in France by several partners, including a cooperative company.
Gilding
Lines are gilded with 24-carat gold via an electrolysis process ensuring agglomeration of gold on the line.
Boxes and silkscreen
Despite significant production volumes, The Line keeps an artisanal manufacturing approach for its packaging, and uses a silkscreen process to guarantee an original and qualitative result.
Packing
Final packing of products is then carried out within ESATs (work-based learning centers dedicated to people with disabilities).
